Humanities School  
The School of Humanities takes on the important task to offer the literal arts for all the students in our college. It consists of 9 units as follows: Philosophy, Political Science, Deng Xiao-ping Theory, Marxist Economics, Chinese, Journalism, Logics, Physical Education and Art Education. It has 52 members of faculty, including 6 professors and 15 associate professors, 28 lecturers, 3 assistants. Among them, there are 8 with doctorate, 11
The Scene of the Lecture

with Master¡¯s Degree, 5 Doctor candidates and 2 Master candidates. All of them are qualified for teaching and researching.

The School of Humanities offers 11 required courses, including Theory of Marxist Philosophy, Ethical Education, Mao-zedong Thought, Economy and Politics of Contemporary World, Deng Xiao-ping Theory and Three Representative, Marxist Economics, Basic Old Chinese, Basic Writing, Writing of Administrative Documents, Basic logics and Physical Education. Besides these courses, it offers about 60 selective courses, such as Modern Western Philosophy and Literature Trends, Aesthetics and its Genres, Chinese Traditional Culture, History of Chinese Cultural Revolution (1966-1976), Research on Important Events after 1949 in Mainland China, History of Chinese Literature, Research on Chinese Contemporary Novels, Chinese Poem Appreciation, Appreciation of Works of Movie and Television at Home and Abroad, etc. These courses aim at cultivating and improving the accomplishment in the field of literal arts for our students, and making their knowledge structure more perfect.

The School of Humanities emphasizes the improving of teaching via academic researching. Thus it has established such institutions as follows: Research Center of Human science, Research Center of Deng Xiao-ping Theory, Institute of Literature and Laws and Institute of Arranging Ancient Law Books. Students which has one class and many students mainly from Korea, Japan and other Asia areas at present.This Center is spreading its influence and broadening the recruiting area so as to provide better environment for more foreign students who study Chinese laws on our campus and introduce Chinese and its excellent culture to the whole world with the help of this teaching platform.
